Getting access to a client's Google Ads account

How agencies get access to a client's Google Ads account, via a manager account link or user access.

To run a client's Google Ads campaigns through Snifferdog, the Google account you connect needs access to their Google Ads account. There are two common ways.

Option 1: link it to your manager account (recommended)

If your agency has a Google Ads manager account, send the client a link request from it. Once they accept, every account under your manager account is available to the Google login you connect to Snifferdog.

Option 2: be added as a user

The client can add your Google account as a user directly, in their Google Ads account under Admin, then Access and security. Ask for Standard or Admin access so you can create and manage campaigns.

Then, in Snifferdog

  1. Make sure the Google login with access is connected in Settings, then Platform Connections.
  2. Open the client's profile and choose their Google Ads account.
