Understanding analytics and reports
What the Analytics and Reports tabs show, when results become reliable, and why figures can differ from platforms.
Your project's Analytics and Reports tabs show how your campaigns are performing across every platform in one place.
When reporting starts
Reporting starts as soon as your campaigns go live. However, campaigns usually spend a few days to two weeks in a learning period while each platform, and Snifferdog's own agents, work out what performs best. Figures during this time can jump around, so treat early results with caution. See The learning phase explained.
What you'll see
Analytics brings together key measures such as spend, impressions, clicks, click-through rate (CTR), cost per thousand impressions (CPM), conversions, cost per acquisition (CPA), reach and frequency, with a breakdown by campaign. New to these terms? See What is a conversion?
Why numbers can differ from the platforms
Each platform counts things slightly differently, and data can take a few hours to sync. Small differences between Snifferdog and an individual ads manager are normal.
