Adding tracking tags to your website
The three ways to add tracking tags to your site, from website builder integrations to Google Tag Manager.
Every ad platform needs its own tracking tag on your website. There are three common ways to add them. Pick whichever suits how your site is built.
Option 1: your website builder's integrations (easiest)
Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and most other builders have built-in settings or official apps for the Google tag, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel. Look in your builder's settings for "marketing", "tracking", "integrations" or "custom code".
Option 2: Google Tag Manager (most flexible)
Google Tag Manager lets you add and manage every platform's tag in one place, without editing your site each time. Install it once, then add each tag inside it.

Option 3: paste the code into your site
Each platform gives you a snippet of code to paste into the head section of every page. This works anywhere, but needs a little more care.
